Shipping policy
1. 到自取點收取貨物 (Self Pickup)
- 阿茂將會在團購截止後安排廠準備貨品,在整理好後阿茂會安排最後發貸日期及時間,並以電郵發送通知大家取貨時間及地點。
- 請各位在交收時自備保溫袋及冰塊,以確保冷凍食品在運送回家的時間仍然保持冰涷狀態。
- 客戶請準時到指定收貨地點收取貨品,逾時不侯。
- 阿茂到達收貨地點時將會在當區的 Whatsapp 群組(如 “雷丁茂里 Uncle E@Reading) 上通知大家停車地點。請大家前來取貨。
- 收貨時請大家提供訂單編號和姓名以便查核。如有需要,阿茂有權要求客戶提供“確定訂單定”電郵以查核繳費狀態或其他資料。請大家見諒。
- 所有因客戶逾時到達或臨時取消而未能領取之貨品因食物衛生原因將被註銷。該訂單將不會另作退款或賠償。敬請留意。
- 所有冰鮮貨品在運輸途中已經過冷凍及保溫處理,確保仍然處於冰凍狀態以保持食物衛生。唯可能在食物表面出現輕微溶雪或包裝盒有凝結水點實屬無可被免。貴客請在收貨時檢查貨品狀態,如有問題可即時提出,我們按情況將作出無條件退款安排,以確保大家健康及權益。
- 當完成交收後,客戶需自行妥善處理有關貨品,阿茂將不會負責績後因客人不妥善保溫、不妥善管理及儲存食物而引起的食品變質情況或其他問而引起的報廢或對健康構成影響承擔責任及賠償。
- 如遇到個別貨物出現缺貨情況,我們會另行退款給客戶,退款將於5-7個工作天發放到你的支付戶口上。
- Uncle E will arrange for the factory to prepare the goods after the group-buy ends. After the goods are sorted, Uncle E will arrange the final date and time for pickup, and notify everyone by email of the time and place to pick up the goods.
- Please bring your own insulated bags and ice cubes when pickup to ensure that the frozen food is still cold when transported to home.
- Customers are requested to arrive at the designated pickup location on time to collect the goods. Late delivery will not be tolerated.
- When Uncle E arrives at the pickup location, we will notify everyone of the parking location on the local WhatsApp group (such as "Uncle E@Reading"). Everyone is encouraged to come and pick up the goods.
- When receiving the goods, please provide your order number and name for verification. If necessary, Uncle E has the right to require customers to provide an "order confirmation" email to check payment status or other information. Your understanding is highly appreciated.
- Goods that cannot be picked up due to late arrival or order cancellation by customers will be discarded due to food hygiene reasons. There will be no refunds or compensation for this order. Please pay attention.
- All chilled goods have been frozen and perform insulated treatment during transportation to ensure they are still frozen up to food hygiene standards. There may inevitably be slight melting snow on the surface of the food or condensation on the packaging box. Please check the condition of the goods when receiving them. If you have any questions, you can raise them immediately. We will make unconditional refund arrangements according to ensure everyone's health and rights.
- After the delivery is completed, the customer must properly handle the relevant goods. Uncle E will not be responsible for the spoilage or other problems caused by the customer's improper insulation, improper management and storage of food. Responsible for the impact and compensation.
- If certain goods are out of stock, we will refund the customer separately. The refund will be issued to your payment account within 5-7 working days.
2. Shipping by courier service (This Service is not available)
You will receive a separate email from a courier company informing you of the date of delivery. Please leave ‘Special Instruction’ at the checkout point if you have any place where a courier company driver can leave your box safely in case of absence. In case of no answer at the door without special instruction, your goods will be returned to a depot and may be disposed of there.
Delayed delivery can also happen for reasons unforeseen such as traffic accidents, driver errors or mechanical issues. By placing an order, you agree to accept your delivery delays for these events and reasons. Please accept and do not refuse your delivery in these circumstances, so PLEASE CHECK you have entered the correct details.
Unfortunately, we can’t control delays that may occur with the courier, the best way for you to get information is to contact the delivery agent. Your order will remain in a safe in the box before the best before the day is printed on the packaging. If there are delays past this time please throw them away and we will replace your order the following week.
Despite our best effort, some issues can rise during delivery. Please contact us as soon as possible at cs@uncle-e.co.uk. We will try to sort out the issues as best as we can.
We may have to decline your delivery in the event of a temporary failure of electrical equipment, mechanical breakdown, industrial action, adverse weather conditions or other reasons beyond our reasonable control. The withdrawal of delivery is at our discretion, and our decision will be final.
We accept payment from MasterCard, Visa Credit, and Visa Debit (the UK registered cards). The address to which the card is registered must be the same as the billing address. The card used to confirm the order must be the same card used to complete the order. We do not accept cash, cheques, in-store money-off coupons or gift vouchers of any kind.
When you place your order, the full cost of your order will be taken. If you need to cancel or amend your orders after payment, please email us at cs@uncle-e.co.uk as soon as possible. We will endeavour to cancel or correct where possible. However, once your order is passed onto the courier company, we cannot cancel or amend your order and we will not be able to refund you.
We do our best to ensure that we have a wide range of products available every day, but sometimes we run out of certain products. We will try to replace them with similar products(which have the same or more value) where possible, but your money will be refunded for any products which we do not supply to you and it will not influence your delivery charge.
If we are unable to process card payment at the time of placing your order, your order will not be placed.
After you have placed an order online, an automated email will be sent to your registered email acknowledging your order being placed. You will receive another email from a courier company to inform you of the delivery date.
Once we have delivered the products to you, you become the owner of the products. You will have no legal liability in connection with your order until the products have been delivered to you.
Where applicable, prices shown will include Value Added Tax (if applicable). We endeavour to keep our website updated with prices which indicate the current rate of VAT. You will be charged the current prevailing rate on the day of your delivery.
